What we store
Spothan stores a random device ID in your browser to remember your votes and submissions. No name, email, or personal data is collected unless you choose to provide it.
Leaderboard username
If you set a username, it is stored publicly alongside your device ID in our database to display on the leaderboard. You can change or delete it at any time.
Email (optional)
If you leave your email address, it is stored in our database and used only to send Spothan updates. We never share it with third parties.
Map data
Place submissions, votes, and reports are stored in our database. Submissions are public once approved. Your device ID is linked to your submissions.
Your rights (GDPR)
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your data. To request deletion of your data, contact us at info@spothan.com with your device ID (shown below).
